Celebrity Chef Trinnette Morris, founder of Trindy Gourmet and Tony ‘Coach T’ Smith, CEO of T-Sanity Fitness have joined forces for a new business venture called T-Fit Meals. The duo celebrated the official launch of their brand on April 11 at Zara’s Jazz Café in West Palm Beach. During the festivities, event goers enjoyed a networking mixer, presentations from T-Fit Meal creators, samples of new T-Fit snacks, salads and entrees and group fitness sessions.
Guests were also treated to healthy cookies created by Kerry Gordon of BabiCakes and a specialty, natural lemonade line debuted by Ashley Walker of Top Shelf Gourmet Ice Pops. These products will be available for purchase at Trindy Gourmet.
Smith says that together he and Morris can vastly help improve the quality of life for people in minority and underserved communities. “Fitness and healthy eating are the balance of life,” Smith says. “It’s a natural synergy.” When asked specifically about his partnership with Morris, Smith said, “Trinnette is a dynamic person all around, and our level of passion for what we do matches. It only made sense to do this collaboration together. Like the food and fitness it was a natural synergy.”
Morris says she has enjoyed her partnership with Smith since their initial meeting. “He never stops. He always takes an idea to the next level, and I have really next level ideas.” Morris says. She adds that it’s refreshing to motivate a motivator. Morris also says that collaboration within her community and among other local businesses is a must in her book. “Collaboration is who I am,” Morris says. “My parents are collaborators; it’s what I see; it’s how I was raised.”
T-Fit Meals are available for purchase on the Trindy Gourmet website under the T-Fit Meals tab. The site boasts that T-Fit Meals are prepared using the freshest ingredients and healthy oils. There are also paleo, vegan and heart healthy meal options available.
