The Paisley Parlor is no more. But, only in the technical sense.
As of April 30, the popular Lake Park hair salon has undergone a rebrand and is now dubbed the Mane Life Hair Studio.
Keshia Rogers, owner of Mane Life Studio and master stylist, said her company had outgrown the name Paisley Parlor when she wanted to expand her brand. “The name Paisley Parlor was just not a name that could create a culture or create a lifestyle. It was cute, but it was not commercial enough.” Rogers says.
Rogers has been styling coifs since the 90s, but has been a licensed stylist for 12 years. Her endeavors under the Mane Life Studio brand include a product line, instructional classes and a social group she calls the Mane Chick Clique. This gathering of women is Rogers’ newest undertaking. “I wanted to do something where my clients and people that look up to me could get together and mastermind and support each other in business.” Rogers says.
Ultimately, Rogers says that her five year plan includes founding an educational institute to teach others the art of hair styling.
The Mane Life Studio is located at 838 Park Avenue in Lake Park. To learn more about the salon contact 561-469-9476 or visit www.manelifestudio.com.
