City of WPB Has $170 Million To Spend With Small Businesses

The City of West Palm Beach’s Director of Procurement is hosting a free workshop on Thurs., Sept. 7 from 4-6 pm at the Historic Armory Arts Center (811 Park Place, West Palm Beach, FL 33401). This workshop will specifically discuss the allocation of the city’s nearly $170 million in approved funds to do business. Presentations about the county’s one cent sales tax increase will be discussed, as well as updates to programs specifically designed for women, minorities, service-disabled veterans and small businesses.

Attendees will also be able to talk one-on-one with City Representatives and receive certification paperwork on-site.

The event program is as follows:

4pm – 4:30 – Registration, Networking & Refreshments

4:30 – 4:45 – Welcome & Introductions

4:45 – 5:30 – Presentation

5:30 – 6pm – Meet and Greet with Department Heads
